WESTSIDE – International Orders FAQs

1. Which countries does Westside deliver international orders to?

Westside currently delivers international orders to the following countries:

  • United Arab Emirates (UAE)
  • Kingdom of Saudi Arabia (KSA)
  • Qatar
  • Bahrain
  • Oman

These are referred to as the Covered Countries.

2. Who can place an international order?

You must be 18 years or older to place an international order.
If you are under 18, the order must be placed through a legal guardian.
If ordering on behalf of a company or organisation, you must be authorised to do so.

3. Do I need to create an account to place an order?

Yes, you may be required to register and create an account on www.westside.com to place an international order.
You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account details and ensuring all information provided is accurate.

4. In which currency will I be charged?

All international orders are charged in USD.
Prices displayed in INR are not applicable to international orders.
The price shown at checkout is the final product price, excluding customs duties and local taxes.

5. Are Indian discounts, gift cards, or Tata Neu points applicable?

Unless explicitly stated, the following do not apply to international orders:

  • Domestic promotions
  • Discount codes
  • Gift cards
  • Store credits
  • Tata Neu Points
6. Is GST or VAT charged on international orders?

No Indian GST or VAT is applicable on international orders.
Customs duties and local taxes, if applicable, are payable in the destination country.

7. What payment methods are accepted?

Only credit cards are accepted for international orders.
Cash on Delivery is not available.

8. Is there a minimum order value?

Yes. The minimum order value for international orders is USD 50.

9. Can I cancel or modify my international order?

No. All international orders are final and non‑cancellable once placed.

10. When is my order considered confirmed?

Your order is confirmed only after it has been dispatched and you receive a dispatch confirmation via email and or SMS.

11. How will my order be shipped?

All international orders are shipped via FedEx.
Free international shipping is currently available to all covered countries.
Expedited or priority shipping options are not available.

12. How long will delivery take?

Estimated delivery time is 7 to 10 business days, subject to customs clearance and local conditions.

13. How can I track my international order?

Orders can be tracked using the Order ID in the Orders section of your Westside account.

14. Who pays customs duties and import taxes?

The delivery duty will be paid by Trent as a launch offer. However, the custom duties above threshold mentioned below will be paid by the customer.

15. What are the customs duty exemption thresholds?

Customs duties may apply if the order value exceeds the following thresholds:

  • Saudi Arabia: SAR 1000
  • United Arab Emirates: AED 1000
  • Qatar: QAR 1000
  • Bahrain: BHD 300
  • Oman: OMR 130

These thresholds are subject to change by local customs authorities.

16. What happens if I refuse to pay customs duties?

If applicable duties or required documents are not provided, the shipment may be delayed, returned, or destroyed.
No refund will be issued, and any additional costs will be borne by the customer.

17. What if delivery fails due to address or availability issues?

If delivery fails due to incorrect address details, recipient unavailability, or three failed delivery attempts, the shipment may be returned or abandoned.
No refund will be issued in such cases.

18. Can I return or exchange an international order?

No. International orders are non‑returnable and non‑exchangeable.

19. When am I eligible for a refund?

Refunds are permitted only if the product is defective at the time of delivery, subject to verification.

The following are not considered defects:

  • Incorrect size selection
  • Colour variation due to screen or display differences
  • Wear and tear or post‑delivery damage
20. How do I report a defective product?

You must contact International Customer Support within 48 hours of delivery and provide:

  • Order ID
  • Clear photos or videos of the defect
  • Packaging images

21. How and when will I receive my refund?

Approved refunds are processed within 7 business days.
Refunds are credited to the original credit card used for payment.
Refunds are limited to the invoice value only.
Customs duties, bank fees, and currency conversion charges are non‑refundable.

22. What if part of my order is not shipped?

If any item in your order is not shipped, a refund for that item will be processed automatically.

23. Who is responsible for bank and currency conversion charges?

All foreign exchange fees, bank charges, and currency conversion mark‑ups are borne by the customer and are non‑refundable.

24. What law governs international orders?

All international orders are governed by Indian law, and courts in Mumbai have exclusive jurisdiction.
